Originally manufactured in Germany as a HK94 semi-automatic rifle, this firearm was converted to a machine gun by our shop in 1986, and then upgraded by Fleming Firearms of Collinsville, OK into a MP5SD submachine gun, with a remarked receiver, proper length barrel, welded sear trip on the bolt and a “SEF” (safe/semi/full-auto) marked trigger group with a pack modified to be compatible with a commercial “shelf” style receiver. Patterned after the SD (“Schalldaempfer”) variant, this example is fitted with a ported barrel and matching Fleming marked suppressor. With the closure of civilian machine gun registration in 1986, this H&K got in right under the wire, and would be among the last H&K guns to be fully transferable. Fitted with a post front sight and a Laser Products Corporation (Surefire Predecessor) laser, Flemming added “MP5SD” marking on top of the receiver and the Heckler & Koch Chantilly, Virginia address on the right side of the magazine well. The grip is right handed with the aforementioned markings on the trigger group, with a round, ribbed forearm and a telescoping buttstock. With one magazine. Laser products corporation battery pack fitted into the grip and laser activates through the trigger pull. Battery and charger included
Has a matte black finish, scattered surface scratches and nicks on the handguard. Mechanically excellent. With one magazine. Era specific, functioning Laser Products Corporation laser mounted. Hats not included
NOTE: This weapon is a National Firearms Act (NFA), fully transferable Class 3, which is registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, (BATFE) under the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478. Note this is a 2 Stamp firearm.
